Player Sponsor Spotlight: Joe Cuthbert
For season ‘25-‘26, CHANCE Recruitment backed Joe Cuthbert, St Duthus, as player sponsor in their North Caledonian League campaign. Joe had joined St Duthus for season ’24-’25 from Highland League side Strathspey Thistle.
The season kicked off on 13th August with a home fixture against Golspie Sutherland, ending in a narrow 1-2 loss. From there, St Duthus’ season hasn’t brought the highs Joe was hoping to be central to this year, with the team battling in 11th place. From his 15 appearances, Joe hasn’t found the net yet, but, with two league fixtures remaining, we keep our fingers crossed.
Saints last game is an away tie with Bonar Bridge, who the Saints have beaten in both previous fixtures this season. A win on the 28th March could be enough to lift Saints to 10th!
Invergordon Football Club were declared The North Caledonian League winners following their 5-0 win over Orkney on 14th February. Following the announcement of their partnership with Ross County FC for season ’25-‘26, Invergordon have their eyes on entering the Highland League for season ‘26-’27.
